Dream Team Reunion Event With Larry Bird & Magic Johnson

I recently had the chance and the honor to see a moderated conversation between Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in Las Vegas, NV. This was the first time the two of them had ever spoken at a corporate event together and it did not disappoint.

They spoke about their NCAA Championship game, NBA rivalry, the Dream Team and most importantly, how their relationship turned from mutual respect to a lifelong friendship. They also told personal stories, including the phone call Magic made to Larry to tell him about his HIV diagnosis. The respect and admiration these two have for each other is so real and was truly felt on stage.

The event was moderated by a former sports journalist in front of an attentive audience of approximately 5,000 people. Larry and Magic answered every question honestly and were so dynamic on stage and brought laughter to the entire room. They were both also interactive, walking around to different parts of the room after the program to take photos with audience members and even did a 30 minute photo op where they happily signed more autographs and spoke to clients. These two basketball titans who will exceed your expectations can cover topics that include motivation, inspiration and overcoming adversity.
